Imports of wheat / barley and their products into Canada are subject to import controls under Canada’s Export and Import Permits Act (EIPA).
Global Affairs Canada (GAC) has given notice that the tariff rate quotas (TRQs) for wheat, barley and their products will become accessible on August 1, 2024. At this time, the “within access” HS codes can be used for imports until the allotted quota has been reached.
