The Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) and the Treasury Board and Canada border Services Agency (CBSA) have not yet reached an agreement, but will continue mediated negotiations until Wednesday, June 12.
PSAC initially said border workers would strike as early as 4 p.m. on June 7 if they hadn’t reached a deal, but have decided to extend negotiations.
A strike by CBSA personnel means uncertainty and disruption for Canadian importers. Livingston is actively monitoring the ongoing labor dispute.
