The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) has provided notice that the Gypsum Board (GB) SIMA case found in the Measures in Force is about to expire on January 3rd, 2022. The resulting decision regarding the expiry will affect the amount of duties gypsum board importers pay.
If the CITT decides that an expiry review of the case is warranted, it will issue a notice that it will be performing an expiry review.
If the CITT decides that an expiry review is not warranted, the finding will expire on its schedule expiry date and SIMA duties will no longer apply.
Complete details regarding the Notice of Expiry can be found here.
