The U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) have temporarily suspended additional European Union (EU) Section 301 duties on United Kingdom (UK) and other EU origin product for four months, to begin steps towards resolving the long running Airbus dispute.
The suspension began on March 4, 2021 for affected consumption entries/withdrawals from warehouse and will run through 11:59 pm on July 3, 2021 for UK origin goods. The suspension for EU origin products began on March 11, 2021, and runs through 11:59 pm on July 10, 2021. EU origin goods admitted into a Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) during this time will not be required to be entered in ‘privileged foreign status’.
