The U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) extended 87 out of 216 exclusions from Section 301 additional duties for Chinese origin products appearing on List 4A, that had been approved over 8 different tranches.
Extended exclusions include 14 complete 10-digit HTS and 73 specific product descriptions. They expire on January 1, 2021 and will use Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) 9903.88.57.
List 4A exclusions which were not extended expired September 1, 2020, and include the following exclusion HTS 9903.88.39, 9903.88.42, 9903.88.44, 9903.88.47, 9903.88.49, 9903.88.51, 9903.88.53, and 9903.88.55.
The USTR also issued two new retro-active exclusions for Chinese origin List 3 products, and amended seven List 3 specific exclusion product descriptions, but these all expired on August 7, 2020.
