CBSA concludes normal value review of upholstered seating exporter from China

On October 18, 2024, Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) concluded a normal value review of the exporter Anji Eurostile Furniture Co., Ltd, located in China, an exporter of products subject to the upholstered domestic seating SIMA case currently in force.

During the review, CIMC did not provide responses to CBSA’s dumping or subsidy requests for information (RFI). As such, normal values or specific amounts of subsidy were not issued and the “All Other Exporters” anti-dumping duty and subsidy rates will continue to apply on imports of subject goods from this exporter.

Importers are reminded that, if they use the services of a customs broker to clear their imports, the brokerage firm should be advised whether or not the goods are subject to anti-dumping and countervailing duties and be provided with sufficient information necessary to accurately assess SIMA if applicable.

Details regarding the conclusion are available here.
