Expedited reviews are conducted by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) upon request of an exporter to review the normal value, export price, and amount of subsidy on goods subject to a particular SIMA case.
On August 3, 2023, CBSA concluded an expedited review of the Korean exporter Histeel Co. Ltd, an exporter of goods subject to the Line Pipe 2 SIMA case currently in force.
During the review, the exporter submitted a satisfactory response to the Request for Information (RFI) sent out by CBSA. As such, normal values were issued to Histeel Co.
This means that, as of August 3, 2023, subject goods exported to Canada by Histeel Co., that are sold at or above the normal values issued by CBSA, will not be subject to anti-dumping duties.
