CBSA concludes normal value review of seating exporter from China

On October 2, 2024, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) concluded a normal value review of the Chinese exporter Shenzhen Zhuangjia Wanchang Technology Co. Ltd. (Wanchang), an exporter of goods subject to the Upholstered domestic seating SIMA case currently in force. As a result of the review, normal values have been determined for this exporter. Imports of the products subject to this review will not be subject to anti-dumping duties that are sold to Canada at or above the normal value issued by CBSA. Complete details regarding the review conclusion are available here.

Importers are reminded that if using the services of a customs broker to clear their importations, the brokerage firm should be advised whether or not the goods are subject to anti-dumping and countervailing duties and be provided with sufficient information necessary to accurately assess SIMA, if applicable.
