The CBSA concluded, on August 29, 2024, an expedited review of the Chinese exporter Ningbo Raytech New Energy Materials Co., Ltd. (Raytech), an exporter of goods subject to the Photovoltaic modules and laminates SIMA case currently in force.
During the investigation, CBSA did not receive sufficient information from the exporter in response to the request for information (RFI). As such, normal values were not issued, and the “all other exporters” rates of anti-dumping and countervailing duties will continue to apply to shipments of subject goods from this exporter.
Please refer to CBSA’s Notice of conclusion of expedited review: Photovoltaic Modules and Laminates for additional details.
Importers are reminded that, if using the services of a customs broker to clear their importations, the brokerage firm should be advised whether or not the goods are subject to anti-dumping and countervailing duties and be provided with sufficient information necessary to accurately assess SIMA if applicable.
