Expedited reviews are conducted by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) upon request of an exporter to review the normal value, export price, and amount of subsidy on goods subject to a particular SIMA case.
On October 27, 2023, the CBSA concluded an expedited review of Chinese exporters Eterno Co. and Zhe Jiang Shengli Furniture Co. Both are exporters of goods subject to the Upholstered domestic seating SIMA case currently in force.
During the review, the exporters submitted a satisfactory response to the Requests for Information (RFI) sent out by CBSA. As such, normal values were issued to both companies.
This means that, as of August 3, 2023, subject goods exported to Canada by these exporters that are sold at or above the normal values issued by CBSA, will not be subject to anti-dumping duties.
