Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) introduces new online service options in the MyCFIA portal to the fertilizer and supplement industry to submit and pay to re-register or to amend existing product registrations through My CFIA. These new services are an addition to the existing options to submit new registrations or request research authorizations, which were launched in November 2020.
My CFIA is a secure online entry point that allows people who do business with the Agency to request, manage and track permissions by signing up for an account. By using MyCFIA, those who require a CFIA issued certificate product registration or licence can take advantage of the ability to manage, track, and submit a service request, anytime, anywhere.
Fertilizer and supplement industry sectors can sign up now for a My CFIA account to take advantage of other online applications available for permissions, such as animal by-product and plant import related permits.
