Provisional duties no longer payable on certain Oil Country Tubular Goods from Austria

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) determined, on February 22, 2022, that the dumping certain Oil Country Tubular Goods originating in or exported from Austria has not caused injury or retardation, nor threatens to cause injury to the Canadian domestic industry.

As such, the Anti-dumping investigation has been terminated and provisional duties are no longer payable on said goods released from Customs on or after February 22, 2022.

Importers who were assessed provisional duties during the provisional period will be refunded by CBSA within six months of the date of the CITT finding.

This follows the CBSA’s Final Determination made on January 21, 2022.

Details of the CITT finding are available here.
