If you import certain carbon steel fasteners from Taiwanese firm General Fasteners Co., the CBSA has decided you’ll continue to pay anti-dumping duties on those goods. This will increase the cost of doing business for those companies.
Certain products exported to Canada by this company are subject to the Certain Fasteners SIMA case.
On November 30th, 2021, the CBSA concluded a normal value review of firm General Fasteners Co.
As a result of this review, the CBSA has determined General Fasteners Co. is dumping its goods in the Canadian market, as such It will continue to apply anti-dumping duties to imports of subject goods.
