The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT), on February 15, 2021, determined that the alleged injurious dumping and subsidizing of certain grinding media originating in or exported from India has caused injury or are threatening to cause injury to the Canadian domestic industry.
This preliminary injury inquiry follows the notification on December 17, 2020, that the President of the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) had initiated investigations into the alleged injurious dumping and subsidizing of the above-mentioned goods.

A preliminary determination by CBSA of dumping can be expected within 30 days, at which time, depending on CBSA’s decision, provisional duties may commence.
